The Strand Theater is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization

The Strand works tirelessly to promote women artists, new voices, and the community. Every member of the Strand is a volunteer. Most of us work full-time jobs, have families, and responsibilities. We all find time to foster this very special theater. Some give over 40 hours a week, keeping our engine going. As a new theater we need to buy essentials. Even something as small as paper towels becomes a burden when you are starting out. Please help support us in these first few vital years of growth!

  • $100 allows us to compensate a stage manager for one production
  • $300 covers the cost of props for one show
