Our theater is growing so quickly that we need more leadership! If you have an interest in the arts, consider joining the Strand Theater Board. We seek professionals with nonprofit Board experience who are not afraid to make a scene. Board members’ primary responsibilities include strategic planning, approving and monitoring the organization’s programs and services, ensuring effective fiscal management, selecting and orienting new board members, fundraising, and promoting the activities of the Strand.
The Strand Theater is a community theater dedicated to providing opportunities for women artists, writers, designers and directors. Interns Needed
Development / Grants: The Strand is looking for an intern who can work independently researching grants and foundations. Intern will also be responsible for assembling grant packets. Internship hours are flexible and require one weekly meeting with the President and / or Artistic Director. Resident Stage Manager: Resident Stage Manager is responsible for stage managing 2 productions per season for the Strand Theater Company. Previous experience in stage management is desired. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, leadership skills, and time management is required.
